About Veronica Jean

IN CASE WE HAVEN’T MET YET, HELLO!

I’m Veronica Jean.

Way back in 2007, I hit rock bottom – hard. I was suffering with anxiety, panic attacks, IBS, insomnia, addiction, and so much more. I had been struggling with physical and mental health challenges for years and, despite taking all the medications my medical doctors recommended, I just kept getting worse.

Through the desperation brought on by my deteriorating health, I began to learn to care for my health naturally and be my own best advocate. I then studied as a Holistic Nutritionist to discern what was needed to regain my heath and found my way back to being well.

I have now worked in the nutrition field for over 15 years and have been fortunate to gain experience in a variety of roles—from directing a 7-figure health food store and multi-disciplinary clinic for a decade, to education and government contracts, to maintaining a private practice at capacity, and contributing to the non-profit sector.

In clinical practice my primary areas of focus have included pre-conception and fertility, prenatal, post-natal, and pediatric nutrition; hormone balance; thyroid conditions; autoimmunity; mental health, pain disorders, and addiction; and concussions and brain injury.

Since my rock bottom, I have navigated health crises, including healing from a brain injury, by “practicing what I preach”. I am delighted to live out my work every day. I’m so grateful to have the knowledge I do, as it allows me to care for my health and the health of my family. As a result, I feel called to share what I know to empower others to reclaim their wellness, just as I did.

Whether it’s a Nutritionist serving my clients, as an educator teaching my students, or as a business mentor leading fellow Nutritionists – I love sharing my knowledge and experience with my clients to support them in living their values, thriving in work they love, and feeling their best while they’re doing it.

Outside of my work as a Nutritionist, I describe myself as a mama, an avid reader, and an overall student-of-life. I am currently studying psychology while working toward earning a master’s degree in social work, and I’m excited for the ways I can continue to incorporate what I’m learning into my clinical nutrition practice and mentorship roles.
